Hi my grand father was mcauley. His name was Francis and he passed away in 1934
He lived on Sean mcdermott street in dublin1 he was married to my granny Katleen dignam .they had 6 kids 2 sons and 4 daughters. 3 of there daughters passed away in 1934 from TB. Then my grand father passed away the same year. His wife remarried to a john Kelly but she died few years later.she had 1 daughters Maria. My mother who's the last one left of the family is still here today thank god. So we could be related down the line. I only found my grand father grave 2 years ago which my mother never seen until then.her brothers Michael and Francis he was also know as Matt. Well ill have to go off line now and good look in your seach . Regards james

sorry 1 last thing the name of the first to past was katleen mc cauly age 5, and i do know the  Kavanaghs and murtaghs from sheriff street, the Kavanaghs live in portland row dublin and the Murtaghs live in seville place dublin, 2 very big familys.

hi my names is james, my mother was a mc cauley born in 1941, she had 3 sisters who died very young from TB. they lived in 11 upper sean mc dermott street in dublin 1 just around the corner from malbourg steet, im not saying we are related cos my mother only found her fathers grave in glasnevin dublin a few weeks ago, his name was francis mc cauley he died from TB like his 3 daughters before him.margaret age 6 died 1th of jun 1946.and CHRISTINA who died age 6 30th april 1944. the first sister to past was age 5 past away 22th jan 1944, there was 2 brouthers who lived up to a few years ago oldest was michael better known as (micker) and then there was francis better known in dublin as (frankie) who was the youngest of the family,there mother remarried after the death of her husband francis, she married john kelly in dublin not sure of the year, now my mother is 72 now shes the last 1 left of her family, but you do look a little like her if you dont mind me saying, so good luck in yer search and i hoped i helped in a little way, bye bye..from dublin...
