My grandfather had his own concreter & asphalter business in 1926. the address was Pinfold, Brierley Wood, Huddersfield.
It was situated at the bottom of Park Rd.West. Though now derelict, the building can be seen from Manchester Rd. A62

I realise it's along time since you posted this, but I'm new to the site. I lived near a family of Weavings in Hazel Grove when I was a child. they were called Margaret and Jack, they had 3 sons terry, brian & Kim. If that's any help

It's rather complicated. In 1861 Richard Henry Inman is away at school, 1Providence Place. His sister AnnaMaria Inman is staying with 1/2 brother Norcliffe B Spenser at 43 Hampden Place.
By 1871, they are all back home together at Aspley Place
widdowed mother Martha Inman, Richard Henry 21, AnnaMaria 20, AliceAnn 18, WilliamEdward 15, and CharlesBottomley Inman 14

thanx Crisane. I actually walked past the building mentioned. I'll have to brave the dreaded M62 with a camera. I could kick myself.
