« on: Tuesday 13 September 11 15:47 BST (UK)  »
Hello
I would be very grateful for a lookup please for a lookup 1861 census for a Patrick Power born Stepney 1850. I believe he was in the Limehouse area then. I would be great for info re the address he was at and anyone else living there. It might be an orphanage/workhouse. He may have siblings with him
Julia 1847
Johanna 1848
William 1849
John 1853
Joseph 1855
Many thanks
Pat ;)

Hi
I am grateful for all the help. I did not cast doubt on the transcriber. That was not my posting. All I know is that their name is Caton.
Thanks everyone
Pat

Hi I would be very grateful for an address in 1901 for this family please. I know they are in Paddington in 1901.
Daniel/Dan Carton born appx 1850 Middx Greengrocer and his children Edward/Timothy, John, Dan/Daniel and Mary Anne. They are actually my Caton family but have ended up 1901 as Carton.
Would be very grateful for any help
Many thanks
Pat

Thanks for the replies. I can only access the 1861 census on GenesReunited and you cannot search there with just the forename. Which site can you do that on please?
Thanks
Pat

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / 1861 Census enquiry - general

Hi again
Thankyou to those who have already been so helpful with specific searches but I wonder if there is anyone who can give some advice please. I am sure the answer will be "No" but I would like to know if there is anyway of searching the 1861 census by putting in just the christian name, date of birth and place of birth and likely area?

I am looking for a Patrick Caton ( or possibly Condon/Kayton/Carton, you name it the variables are endless) bornApril 1859 Marylebone ( The Rectory district) to John Caton and his wife Mary/Catherine Caton etc etc. There has been a lookup done for me here recently for Condons in Southwark, which include a Patrick but it is not the right family as there should have been  present also a Mary b 1855; Johanna b 1857 as well as Patrick. I just cant find this family anywhere 1861, although in 1871 they are all in THe Rectory Dist of Marylebone!

Any ideas gratefully received
Pat
