Hi All,

These children of this George and Margaret Holt ......   I am concerned that they may still be alive.

There's lots of helpers around who will try to help with searching for ancestors, but not for information about living people.

Hi there,

There are at least two chaps named George Albert HOLT on the index for the Qld Electoral Roll for 1922. They were both in the electorate of Lilley, and the index has them both as enrolling in 1913.

There are two lasses named Margaret HOLT on that index of that particular roll who were also in the electorate of Lilley, enrolling in 1913 also.

Lilley is an electorate in Brisbane, the capital city for Queensland.

Would you have any further information about your Margaret Holt nee Watson please.

Cheers,  JM

Hi, I don't know if it's the right person but I found a Margaret Annie Holt's burial info. She died 12/12/1986 and is buried at the Redcliffe Cemetery Plot No CO1/J15.  I also found a Margaret Holt on Ancestry Australia. She died
23/11/1960. Her parents were James Watson and Margaret Ann Broadhead but I can't verify it on QLD BMD's. Hope it helps. cassco
margarets fathers name was jas watson i presume that means james and lived in cheshire england

It is great to hear from you.

Jacob's speech to which you refer sounds intriguing, and we would love to hear more.

Ann BAKER and William Augustus LONG from Somerset who married 10 Dec 1853 Lyndoch Valley South Australia were my 2 x great grand parents;  we have been researching their descendants here but know nothing about our ancestors in England, so anything you can provide in this regard eg, direct ancestors, life events, personal details, would be greatly appreciated.

I await further advice from you with anticipation.

Jeenie.
Hi jeenie - i came across this info and on reading it this ann baker and william long is also my 2 X great grand parents - so that would have to make you my cousin - i would like to get in touch with you i live in galwer east South australia where abouts do you live - hope to hear from you soon
