Hi Lodger
Thanks for that. It certainly looks a lovely stone and is still standing proud.  I'm sure they were buried there.  What a pity no-one added their names.
Thanks very much for going to take a picture. Much appreciated.
Regards
Lynn

Hi,
I'm on the hunt for a picture of the Hislop family stone in Cambusnethan if anyone can oblige. I understand my grand aunt is buried there as she married the 2nd Hislop son but the only picture I have must be before they died as their names are not on it (not that it looked like there was much room left for anymore writing)
Peter Hislop 1870-1901, his son John Hislop killed in action in 1916, his wife Mary Shaw 1871-1943. My grand aunt, Agnes Alexander Paterson 1908-1975 married George S Hislop 1898-1951
Thanks
Lynn

Thanks to you all for your help & advice.
I did wonder if she was buried with her child.  I'll maybe try the council as suggested.
I tried Find A Grave.  Only found her husband with his 2nd wife.
Thanks

Lanarkshire / Larkhall Cemetery search please - Helen Curr Whitelaw
« on: Tuesday 19 March 24 19:23 GMT (UK)  »
Hi All,

Trying to find out where my 2x great grandmother may have been buried.  Her address on the death certificate was Miller Street, Larkhall.  Is anyone got access to the monumental inscriptions for Larkhall Cemetery?
Her name is Helen Whitelaw (maiden name Curr).  Died 5th January 1895 age 31.
Father - Mitchell Curr, Mother - Jane Kerr or Carr
Her husband - Robert Whitelaw (he re-married and I've found his and his 2nd wife's gravestone in Larkhall)

Thanks
Lynn
