Lancashire Completed Lookup Requests / Manchester Library Visit - August. Anyone need look-ups??

Hello All,
I will be at the library on August 9th and have time free for look ups if anyone needs anything. I am no longer offering to do photocopies as the cost has risen to 75p per A4 sheet.

The photocopier and I do not have a good relationship and it can take me half a dozen tries to get a reasonable image. Too costly!!
Please reply by 9pm August 8th.

I've got your details and will get whatever information I can for you. I'm not a professional researcher, so don't always have success, but I've found the archivists and volunteers at the Library are always helpful and knowledgable.

It turns out that the tree on Ancestry belongs to my husbands cousin. She has done really well to get back so far.
We have lots of photos that she can add and a bit more information.

Sussex Lookup Requests / Marriage - Henry Ede + Margaret Ellis

Hi,
I'm trying to find details of a marriage between Henry Ede and Margaret Ellis in the Apr/May/Jun quarter of 1915. Registration district Horsham Sussex.
I don't know if they were married in a church or at a register office, but I have a volume and page number for the certificate (V2B Pg924).
Before I spend a small fortune on ordering certificates - is there anywhere else I could find the information??
I'm looking for their fathers names and occupations.

Cork / Simon Sherry

I'm helping someone research his family and he has hit a brick wall with Simon Sherry. (Simeon??)
Believed to have been born around Cork in 1760.
Simon married Mary Kelly at Manchester Cathedral in 1794 and it's thought that Mary may have also been born in Ireland - but we are unable to find any information about them prior to moving to Manchester.

Has anyone got any links / suggestions / for where we can search next in Irish records??
