Wlfndl here, I would love to help with any Wolfenden Woolfenden research that is need!

Thank you again Blackburn Fossil for your help it opened many doors for my research.

I still think my Jonathan Wolfenden and Mary Gridrod's grave is either buried below the grass to listed on the back of the Wolfenden of Closebarn graves.

I have information to share on my Wolfenden family and have seen David Lythgoe posting in 2008 in reply to: John Wolfenden Uppertown Norden 1825. Also looking for Margaret Christie.
I strongly believe your Wolfenden's are related to me!

John Wolfenden: Baptsied: 29/1/1826 Place: Ashworth St. James; Coal Miner Died: 7/9/1902, Buried: Ashworth St. James
his wife was Sarah Howarth: Born: 1829 - Died: 29/6/1878 (49) Buried: Ashworth St. James

James' parents are in fact John Wolfenden and Alice Hamer married 1794 in Middleton. Middleton was the main church of St. James' chapel.

I didn't see grave numbers listed. The page lists the grave stones as opposed to burial listing.

PLEASE NOTE Mary Woolfenden and Simeon Woolfenden deaths are registered in Walmersley, Bury.
I just saw the following listed hope that helps:

Mary Woolfenden: WAL/1/26 Walmersley 1839
Simeon Woolfenden: WAL/1/24 Walmersley 1839
James Woolfenden: SF/1/72 Rochdale 1840
James Woolfenden: SF/2/78 Rochdale 1845
