Hi

Emma Hardy came to Bromley from Burton for the 1891 census. I think she went with her older sister Sarah Maria Hardy who married Thomas Bernard Morley in Burton in 1882 and was in Bromley in 1891.

Hi Joe

The Griffiths valuation only has heads of household, no ages. YOu'd have to search through parish records for births and marriages.

Hi

I found Mary Ann (nee Hegarty) in 1911 census with a birthplace of Cork but why do you think Edward Sr was also from Cork?
I couldn't find them in the 1871 census thought they would have been either in Battersea
daughter Ellen b Jan 1870 in 50 Greek Street Battersea Wandsworth Surrey
or Barking Essex,
daughter Mary Ann b 1871/2

I haven't found their marriage either so that may have happened in Cork prior to 1869.
I've looked in the Irish registers with no luck.

That's news about Edward Jr dying on a merchant ship. Where does that come from?

Hello Tay1.
That makes us ...second cousins?
I've only just seen your message. My line is Dorothy Driscoll b 1896 and moved to New Hythe, Kent. My mum remembers him in Plaistow. Is that right?

Thanks Sybil. Looks like per the Valuation Office information the Edmund Walsh took over from the Rawlins around 1882. I'm not aware of any family connection but this was soon after George Rawlins death.

Hi

I'm looking for Patrick Tr(e)ac(e)y born about 1878 in Co Fermanagh to a father also Patrick and with a brother called Charlie. I have some Tracey information around that time (thought none yet that fits my family.

Any links?

I'd check the birth and marriage indexes between 1891 and 1901, available at your local family history centre.

This post though is two years old - she may have found them already or given up the search!
