grave transcriptions are not currently available, that is a long term desire of ours. There are 65,000 burial plots at All Souls, Kensal Green cemetery spread across 72 acres containing 240,0000 individuals. So it is a big task! Having said all that the General Cemetery Company www.kensalgreencemetery.com have records of every burial, these are held in their offices at the cemetery. The first step is contact them, and ask them for the grave reference number. Once you have the burial plot number someone can use this to find the actual grave. Aquiring that plot number is the first step, without it you could wander the acres of KGC for years looking for the grave. The graves are NOT arranged in date order or anything llike that. People bought plots randomly. The cemetery does make a small charge (£10-15) for grave searches. If you have difficulties do contact the Friends of Kensal Green Cemetery www.kensalgreen.co.uk and we can help you, but the first step is to approach the General Cemetery Company.
