Hi yes these are my mothers parents. My mothers name was Jean Marjory ann. i  always understood that her birthdate was 1924.She did live at Hardy cottages and at luton place but she also mentioned No 31 old woolwich road. Her parents were buried at a cemetery in Shooters hill.If you need any more information about my mother i will be only too glad to help. Best regards Michael.

hi. all i know about these surnames is that my mother who died quite some time ago was born in greenwich. she was a little confused at times but did mention that her mother or grandmother was a sutton from kent. originally jewish,of the name cohen. but this lady, mam was not too sure which it was was given the jewish equivalent of the catholic excommunication for marrying out of the jewish faith. my mothers mother had married an hogben who i believe was born in the peabody buildings. my mother was an only child and her father was i believe a wheeltapper working for the railway.all my mothers immediate family including grandparents were all killed in the blitz my mother being the only survivor.when she was released from hospital she moved away to colne in lancashire where she met my father. she was bombed out at either luton place or the old woolwich road.i would appreciate any input. best regards michael.
