Found this: New Jersey births, mother's age given as 28 which would make birth year 1867-1868. Pretty close?

Roscommon / Ballindrimlea
« on: Tuesday 16 November 10 02:24 GMT (UK)  »
Google maps now has street views for all of Ireland. I'm looking for a farm from early 20th century, perhaps the building(s) still exists. Its the Smiley-Wilkinson family of Ballindrimlea, shown in 1901 and 1911 census. Anyone have any idea what the modern address/area/street would be so I might be able to take a look via Google?  Thanks  so much!

In response to this picture restore request, this 1922 panormaic photo is sadly in pieces. If you would like me to email you a folder of all the parts of this panoramic photo, please send me a message and I will email a copy of the folder containing the individual scans of the pieces of this picture.  My request (and feel free to say no or to simply not do) is to have the individual sections cleaned up OR to clean them up AND recombine them. My goal is to make the whole (about one meter/yard long by one foot high original size) available for free to anyone with an interest in the RIC or antique panoramic photos or for whatever reason. This picture contains hundreds of Royal Irish Constabulary members gathered at their disbandment in 1922.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Royal Irish Constabulary restore?

This is a section of a one meter long original which sadly is in several pieces. I am going to attempt a recombine using my comp scanner but first need the individual pieces restored. The bit size is ok but am I correct in assuming the width will be automatically adjusted when I post it?

Notice how many people on the left are staring at, I think, the camera. As if it's a novelty to them?
