Hello Ken

Francis Albert was my husband's grandfather so it appears that you are 2nd cousins.

Hi Mike

Francis was my husband's grandfather.  He came to Australia in 1876.

Mary Ann Cutler was born in Ibsley.

Some of the children were born in Hyde, although Francis was born in Fordingbridge.

Have you (or anyone else ) come across a connection between the Wyatt's and the Goodyear's (the tyre family) around the period 1914-1923?

Thanks Mike.

Charles'  (m Mary Ann Cutler) father was James Wyatt (m Martha Viney).

James and Martha   had Elizabeth b1821; George b 1824; James b.1836; Charles b1829; William b1832; and Henry b1834.

We have info on most of their offspring also.  Please let me know if it is useful.

Cheers

Helen

My husband is connected to the Fordingbridge Wyatts.  His link (I think without checking) that his grandfather was Alfred/Albert and he emigrated to Australia in the 18??.

I will check tonight and provide more information if you are interested.

Cheers

This is my first message to the forum so please accept any mistakes in sending.

Robert Muir (who arrived on the Ganges Khan) is one on my ancestors...  Alexander Muir (who arrived on the same ship) was my GG  Grandfather.

Alexander later returned to Greenock and died there.

Are you still looking for more information?
