Do you have any pics or info regarding my other posting - THis is the tenement above and around the 4Js Bar at number 10 - 14 Dundonald St.

I always thought the back court of this Building was very small and thought it may have been bigger at some point. Maybe some of it was taken away to form the Large car park that now sits at the Dundonald St / Wolseley St junction.

A local man says that he can remember ther was a big outbuilding to the side that served as a bin shed about 20 years ago,

But any info or pics would be a great start.

Hello just joined loads of great info here and I am sure someone can help us.

WE are interested in the history of 10 - 14 Dundonald St Dundee and the larger tenement above and around the 4Js bar. The 4Js was previously called the Airlie Arms.

WE would like to get info or pics of the building and any memories you may have.

A Family friend, knows that her parents lived there briefly although the family moved to Lochee before she was born.

One thing that I thought as we went to see the building was that the back court was very small for the size of the building!!


I am off now to track down the Photo I saw of the Johnston"s stores mabe this was on street level and the flats above.
