Hello,
My Name is Jodi Begrie-Rodier. I am the Grand-daughter of Mayhew (Ted) Begrie. And my is Father Wayne Edwin Begrie. You are correct with your information. My Grandpa "Ted" Begrie worked at the Calgary Brewery together with his brother for a long time. And as for their daughters you are right, one did die in an accident and it was a very strange one. From what I remember my Grandpa telling me, she was driving through a railway crossing and she was hit by an oncoming train. She walked away from from the accident and even though the family wanted to take her to the hospital, she refused and said she just needed to lie down. Well she never woke up. She had a major head trauma and never knew about it. If you would like more information, my Dad said he would be more than happy to tell you what he knows. (*)
