michael rodden did have a daughter Ellen but she didn't marry John Holloway (my grandfather). John Holloway married an Ellen Rodden who was the daughter of Mary and Patrick. I think perhaps Michael and Patrick were brothers as they seem to have named their children similar names  - family names perhaps.
