Can anyone help here. I am following one of the females lines. She is Eliza Sarah Widdicombe, nee Powell b.abt 1835 Marylebone London
Her father is John Francis Powell b. abt;1811 Marylebone London. Her mother is also Eliza Sarah Powell, nee Tuffin b abt; 1808.They were married 23 jan 1830 st George Hanovwer Square, westminster, London.
What im trying to find are all of their children
In the 1861 census i have found two sons John & Charles and also a Grandson Fredrick Powell age 2 They were house painter's, decorators, Glaziers and plumbers, all rolled into one. It looked like a family business.
Can anyone find the family in either census and find anymore siblings?
Thanks

Thankyou for your response. i think ive been barking up the wrong tree, ive discovered Mary was actually married to John Berrisford, mind you the same thing with this one. No death certificate either, She definately married Hugh by 1871 census.
The couple Mary and William Berresford also had a son William as did John and Mary, But Mary and Williams child died in infancy.  So John and Mary are our couple living at the right address etc... Am waiting on my GGGrand Fathers Birth certificate to confirm all connections.
Thanks again

ps  John Berrisford was a coal Miner, is there anyway i can find out if there were any mining deaths between 1861 -- 1871 if yes! does the information include names of the deceased.

Excellent Phil
I'm glad you found her, i know how frustrating it can get sometimes.
It's just the best when you find them though, which makes it all worth the trouble.

Kind Regards

Hi Guinea
Have you tried The Australian National Archive site. I found my husbands Ukrainian Grandparents who imigrated in WWll to Australia. I really dont know how far back they go, but it could be worth a try. On the same site there is an email address you can write to asking for information, they will try to help as much as they can.
Kind Regards
