Ive been tracking  some of our Cattle ancestors, from the Somerset area. Who do you have in your line?

I have:
Ralph Cattle (1701-?) married to Sarah Fourace (1705-?) both born in Staplegrove.

Their children:

Thomas Cattle (1730's, Hillfarrance) married to Mary Dite (1742, Hillfarrance)
William Cattle (1733, Hillfaranrce)

Thomas & Mary's children:

William Cattle (1769, Somerset)
Elizabeth Cattle (1771, Somerset)
Samuel Cattle (1773, Somerset)
Edward Cattle (1775, Somerset)
Hannah Cattle (1779, Somerset)
Thomas Cattle (1781, Somerset), Married Martha Ware (1783, Somerset)
Martha Cattle (1785, Somerset)
Isaac Cattle (1788, Somerset), Married Martha Charles

Isaac & Martha's Children:
John Charles Cattle, 1820
Isaac Cattle, 1823
Charles Cattle, 1827

Thomas & Martha's Children:
Robert Cattle (1809-1885)
Joseph Cattle (1811-?, Hillfarrance)
Thomas Cattle (1815-?, Somerset)
Edward Cattle (1819-1875, Somerset)
Samuel Cattle (1822-?, Hillfarrance) Married Hannah Loller (1822)
James Cattle (1824-?, Hillfarrance) Married Elizabeth Hill (1824)

Any of those relate to any of yours? I do have the children of Samuel and James as well, just getting too much to type

I have my spouse's fathers death certificate, but we are interested on more info related to his death.

He died in a motorcycle accident (or so we were told) on November 9, 1985. The death cert lists location as Morriston Hospital, Swansea, and his address at the time of death was 11 Heol-y-Nant, Heol-y-Cyw, Nr. Bridgend.

There also was apparently an inquest done by the coroner on November 13, 1985.

Im looking for an obit, or any newspapers articles related to his death. Location of his burial would also be a bonus.

Thanks for the assistance!

Thanks Keyboard! i bit the bullet and ordered Jenkin's Marriage cert.

That 1901 census might be the right family. on clifford's birth cert it shows the family living at 55 Cefn Cribwr Cefn Road (at least thats what it looks like now that ive seen it on the census - i dont know welsh so its hard for me to determine)

also Vincent G could very well be a brother of Clifford's as there is a VG Hopkins who was a witness to his marriage.

so  i will wait somewhat patiently for those certificates to get to me in a few weeks. in the meantime maybe i will luck out and someone who knows the family will stumble across me on here. :)

Glamorganshire / Need Help finding info- Jenkin Hopkins

I am absolutely stuck on this part of our tree. My spouse has me looking into his family. His father was Vaughn/Vaughan Hopkins (1960-1985).

Vaughn's parents were Clifford Talfryn Hopkins (1926-2005) and Marjorie Greaves (1933-2005).

Clifford Talfryn's parents were Jenkin Hopkin(s) and Eleanor Victoria Dexter (b. 1887??maybe). I have no info on Jenkin other than his name.

I have Clifford Talfryn Hopkins' Birth and Marriage Certificate.
His Birth cert states he was born on the 15th of May 1926, and that is how i got his parents names. It shows he was born in Bridgend, and his father was a Coal Hewer. Beyond that i havent been able to get anywhere.

I should also mention Vaughn's siblings are as follows:

Any help would be much appreciated as we live in Canada so dont have the opportunity to get up close to the local records.
