Hi I am Glennis and my grandmother was a maule...Jane lydia.

I have traced the Maules back to 1801 who lived in Westminster.

George Maule married Mary Dickinson in 1826, St Martins in the Fields in London both borm around 1801.

I cannot trace back anythign.  I searched and found this email.

Can you help me at all from your studies.

I also know my Aunt Jennie used to talk fo ages about the Mauels who owned the shop and later it became Binns.  I have foudn Robert on a idfferent branch but he must have ahd some linkage with my branch for Jennie to have spoken so much.

Any help welcome.  Thanks Glennis in Skegness

my tree is on Genes Reunited but I paid a subscription ot this site to gain more info.

No not thought of that but would then have to get proof.  Will put it into ancestry and see what happens.  Glennis

Are you on Genes Reunited?  If so do look at my tree.

All the Maule families finish perhaps start is the good word with George and mary in Westminster but not their parents or befoer that.  My Auntie [Daddies sister] used to spend hours talking about Robert maule who had a shop in Edinburgh that was taken over by Binns and then in 1973 Frasers.  Robert is on another tree in Scotland and this family we have is in westminster.  The Maules owned land in Westminster mainly Pimlico.

Now I am sure there is a link as she would not have talked for hours about it.  She was the eldest and Ernest my father the youngest of the family so 30 years apart.

That is why I wnat to go backwards and in a sense prove a loink but do nto know how to do it without a lot of expense.  So I joined Ancestry for a year to see if it helped me fill the gaps.  I feel Scottish and joined the London Gaelic Choir many moons ago OK not a member now but  also was in teh White heather Club [TV in teh 60's] and so on and can go into the accnt without any problems even though I was brought up in Bromley Kent.

I find it all mind boggling.

Any help welcome as it seems we are chasign the same family.  Where is your link with the Maules?    Love to you Gl;ennsi *  www.healers2006.co.uk and www.thepalmstaichiclub.co.uk and I am wearing teh brown sash in the photo.  Totally disabled and teach tai chi and it keeps me active

George Maule born 1801 married Jane Dickinson born 1800
Can anyone tell me how to find their parents and go back further.  I have looked up Maule family trees and nothing goes back further.  They seemed to have lived in Pimlico or Westminster in London.

Any help or pointers welcome and thanks

In Colchester the Glass House is the name of the Military Prison.  So the person must have been in the Military Prison.  It is still known as that in the 1990's.  Used to live near it and saw the poor prisoners scared stiff getting out of the train at Colchester.

I do have the following info.  Sorry new to this but decided to do the tree after finding out my mother did not want to tell us children of her relatives, there are reasons but now old hat.

Michael Rogerson 1775 about.

He married Elizabeth Albons 7 January 1798 in Lamesley.  She was born about 1777.

They had a child Philip roughly 4 November 1798 in Ayton Bank Durham.

I have heard of a Thomas Rogerson of the same time and did wonder if they were brothers.

I honestly do not know how to begin and a fledgling of 69.

There seems to be quite a few trees of Rogersons in Ayton Bank or Eighton Bank and I feel they must be connected somewhere.

Love to you all

My honest dream is to go back to around 1700 wiht all the branches and if I find a live relative that would be a bargain

I am looking for  William Kendall 1897 he married Grace Perkins and had three children they are Grace Kendall 1916
Joyce Kendall 1915

Someone suggested that they may have mispelt the name etc.  I know he had two sisters at Salcombe.

Can anyone tell me how to find out more.  the three lasses are very close family relatives

Thanks
