William Henry Blythe was my Great x2 Grandfather, he was born in flintshire in 1849, his father was Edmund Blythe...His Grand father was John Blythe. John was a publican who owned a pub called 'The Honest Man' in Flint...it is still there but is now called 'The Lletty Hotel.William came to Liverpool and married Eleanor Welsh Darling in 1872. they had 2 children (Walter and Linda May) Linda May married William Greenwood, Walter Married Ada Jackson. Walter and Ada had a son Leslie(my Grandfather) William and Linda had three children Eric,Doris and William. William Henry and his son Walter ran cocoa rooms in Great George Place (16-17) William and his son both died in 1908. Linda and William took over the Cocoa Rooms along with Walter's widow Ada. They were still running the Cocoa Rooms in 1911, I don't know what happened after that except that Linda lived her last years in Liverpool.

Linda May Blythe was my Great Aunt, I know that she stayed in Liverpool and she owned a 'Holiday Home' in Chester, my mum and dad used to go there when they first got married in 1953. Im not sure what happened to William Greenwood, or the Cocoa Rooms they ran.
