Mayo / Re: Crossmolina Church Records Lookup

My great grandparents, Thomas Padden and Mary McHale, lived in Crossolina in the early 1800s. My grandfather and his siblings, Cate and Martin were born from about 1832-1849. Is it possible to find any church records on my great grandparent's marriage, death or birth of their children? Thanks!
Kathleen

I believe that my Andrew and Mary Brien Kavanagh are buried in the Ballymore Eustace area of Co. Kildare.  Is there a website that has the names of the cemeteries in that area and a list of those buried in those cemeteries?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information about the church records.  I have great hope that someone can answer another question or suggest a resource: Was there something happening in the Co. Kildare and Wexford areas in the late 1800's that would entice a family to move from Co. Kildare to the Gorey area of Co. Wexford?  Was government land more available in Co. Wexford?

I just learned that the Co. Wicklow Heritage Centre has records for Ballymore Eustace in Co. Kildare, why would that be?

The 1859 marriage of James Kavanagh and Mary Boulger states James' father's name just as Kavanagh (no first name) and James' mother's name as Mary Brien which is correct.

I am looking for the 1832 baptismal record of James Kavanagh and his siblings in the Ballymore Eustace area.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Can anyone give me directions to the Kilnenor Cemetery near Gorey?  Is it a functioning cemetery that you can walk in to read the headstones? Thanks

I have read with great interest the posts mentioning Andrew Kavanagh.  My GGGrandfather was named Andrew Kavanagh.  All I know about him is that he was married to Mary Brien.  They had at least 2 children, James and Jane.  James was born in 1832 and married Mary Boulger in Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare.  James died in Gorey, Co. Wexford in 1889.  I also believe that my GGGrandfather, Andrew,  moved from Co. Kildare to Co. Wexford.  Any suggestions on how and where to try to find more information about Andrew would be deeply appreciated as I am at a brickwall.
