Hello All, Noticed the posts on the Burts, Beveridge and McArthur line.  I am also researching these.  David Elmer McArthur and wife Isabella Spowart Burt were my 2nd Great Grandparents. 
As with Nathan Haines I am also in the Agnes Mary McArthur Haines line.  He has helped me a great deal with piecing the Burts and Beveridge together in America. 
It's always great to see other family members doing research on our family line. Elaine

Thank you Bean.  I've made corrections to my tree.  Margaret Beveridge and Peter Burt were my 3rd Great Grandparents.  Its been interesting to piece together all the parts of the family.  I can say there are a whole lot of them and can easily get side tracked.

Hello Bean, In looking back at notes that were made by a Tom, he stated that Margaret Beveridge's parents were Andrew and Euphemia.  His statement was:   
"Her parents were, (would you believe it), Andrew Beveridge and EUPHAN (Euphemia) HYND! As many of you are aware, I wrote several pages on the Euphemia Hynd saga some time ago."
So now I'm really confused as you stated her parents were Alexander Beveridge and Agnes Smith.  I've read over a lot of the notes left by Tom and he seem to have done some other research on Euphemia Hynd.  So do you have some documentation that shows her parents?  I can't seem to get a hold of this Tom person.  So not sure where or how he got his information on her parents.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Everything that I looked at was showing Margaret Beveridge's parents are Andrew Beveridge, as her father and Euphemia Hynd, as her mother.   I couldn't make any sense of the dates.  If you find the papers you have on Margarets Parents that would be great.  Thank you for this information.  Elaine

Thank you Beans, I'm trying to find out who exactly Margaret Beveridge's Parents are.  I have Andrew Beveridge as her father born abt 1797.  I have been unable to find a date of death for him.  Also I only have that they were from Fife, Scotland.  I have her mother as Euphemia Hynd with a date of death abt 1894.  Both my cousin Nathan and I are unable to get any other information regarding this part of our family.  I have information regarding Peter Burt's family.  I show that Peter and Margaret were married 20 Dec 1839 in Kelty, Fife, Scotland.  They have 5 Children, 4 Girls and 1 Boy.  Daughter Isabella Spowart Burt born 9 Sep 1843 Saline, Fife was my 2nd Great Grandmother, married to David Elmer McArthur m. 1865 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I've gotten a great deal of current family history but once I get to Margaret Beveridge, I seem to have problems.  Since there seems to be 3 different Euphemia's who all married a Beveridge man.  I'm trying to find something that shows that Andrew Beveridge is actually the father of Margaret.

Do you still have a copy of the 80 page papers that you were sent on Peter Burt and Margaret Beveridge?  I was given the parents of Margaret as Andrew Beveridge and Euphan Hynd as her parents.  Peter and Margaret are my 3rd G Grandparents.  This information was given to me by my cousin Nathan from Oregon, USA. 
I would love to get a copy of what you have to help me put some of the pieces together.  I am working on my Burt, McArthur & Beveridge part of my tree.

I have Euphan Hynd who is married to Andrew Beveridge.  She is my 4th G Grandmother.   They had a daughter Margaret b. 1819 m. 1839 to Peter Burt, son of Peter Burt and Isabella Spowart.
Do you have Andrew Beveridge married to Euphan Hynd?

Northamptonshire Lookup Requests / Re: Kings Sutton baptism Haynes/ Haines help please

Hello Ali, I am direct descendant to Richard Haines (Haynes) from Aynho, Northamptonshire.  He is my 7th Great Grandfather.  I'm trying to find out more of his Parents.  I've been given the name of John Richard Hayne and Elizabeth Stanford as Richard's parents.  Shows he was married to Margaret, maiden name unknown. 
I've done a lot of research on the Haines Family Tree.  But can't seem to get further than Richard.  Richard and his family left Aynho in 1682 when he died at Sea on his way to America.  His wife Margaret and children with the exception of his oldest son, John, came to New Jersey.  John was already in America. 
I would like to find out if you have any information on the Haines/Hayne family from Northamptonshire or any part of this area.  I would be happy to exchange any information that I have.
