Hi Dale
I'm related to Kathy - I think our Ryan family is not the one your from. I was told that there were 2 Ryan Families in Fallin and that they were not related. My Mother Margaret Ryan was born there 1923 the youngest child of Mary Bonar and James Ryan. Hope this helps your search
Yeh i knew there were 2 ryan familys in fallin however i was told they were related but reading some of the things on here makes me wonder,i cant find any trace of them,my dad got told that when the first ryan on his family moved to fallin he had infact changed his name to ryan because he had been up to no good in lanarkshire!!!!it would be nice if someone out there had any info,i was looking at the photos posted and mary boner is the double of my sister!!!but thats the only link i can make!!!

The family certainly came out of Lanarkshire which was a stopover from Ireland.  I cant trace an Angus, but there is certainly a John and a James.  Interesting that your sister looks like Maqry Bonar.  See if you can come up with some other names to link in with the family.
i have had an ask around and this is the most info i can get,

angus mckinley ryan(great grandad)died 1958 married to jessie manson, had five kids..........
george manson ryan(grandad) born 1936 died 1958 married to margaret cattigan(gran) from cowie
jim "tarzan"ryan married to jessie ?
rina ryan married to freddie sanderlands(edinburgh) re-married ? laird
isa ryan married to joke laird(brother of the above laird)
jinet ryan married to ? dick(camelon) later re-married dennis ?(hull, england)
