I was trying to find the birth record of Otto Knoch.
All I have is the birth date July 8th 1853 in Niedersachsen, Hannover
and his wife Johanna Lange born September 25th 1851 in Stettin Germany?

I have a record of August Ludwig Medel leaving Bremen Germany on the boat called the Hansa.
He arrived here May 14th 1874.
Is there any way I could find any records of where in Germany he was born?
The records say he was 9 years old when he arrived.
He came with Cath Medel 47 years old.
Doza Medel age 19
Willa Medel age 8.

« on: Monday 02 May 11 05:27 BST (UK) »To me it looks like Elizabeth McCrum on the image of the marriage record for William Cathcart to Elizabeth. She signed her name as Eliza McCrum. There is no info given re parents. The date and location of the marriage are as you stated earlier.That's why my infomation was confusing. But that is the record I was looking for.

I've also found William - June 19, 1932. Baptism on Sept 3, 1932.
Let me know if the parents are correct and I can send you the details. Got to go out right now but I can look further later.

Alexander Cathcart was married to Mary Anne Bailey
And married Marie June Allen as his second wife
Alexander is William's brother.
Thomas cathcart was married to Christina . That is another brother.
I'm looking for birth records of them because I believe there father Alexander was from Ireland.
I thought William married Elizabeth Elisa McCrum but that's the one I can not find.
I have a date of June 17th 1856 at New Connex Methodist Church , Montreal

Trying to find a marriage record on them.
I know they belonged to them Protestant parish
I believe they married their and moved to Canada
where they had 6 children but only 4 that I have names for.
Would there be any records on them leaving Ireland
