I am a descendent of the same line.  My Grandfather was Frank davidson son of james davidson and mary Mitchell.  I know this post is very old but hope your still looking and we can compare notes.

One thing in particular we have struggled with is when exactly (and How) Robert and his brother got to NZ.  We have some photos of a young Robert still in Ireland  (we think)  Anyway would love to catch up with you and Allysa for some info exchange..photos etc

Hi Beth, I am from the same line as Artemis, descendant of Robert .Majurey and Sarah Middlington.  Their son Robert Henry married my Great Grandmother Lucinda Clark.  I realise this post was very old but would be interested in any info you have.Thanks
