Hi Victor,
Many, many thanks for that I'm sure its the James Bond I'm looking for as the dates tie in.

Alderney, Guernsey, Jersey, Sark / The Worley Family of Guernsey

Hi there,
I'm looking for any information on Nina Worley b.1887 in Islington. Her parents were Frank Henry Worley b.1858 in Guernsey and Ellen Champion Worley nee Jenkins b.1865 Clerkenwell, London d.1947 3 St.John's Street, St.Peter Port, Guernsey. The last trace I have of Nina is as informant on her sister's D/Cert (Sibyl Brenda Worley) 1965 in Southwood Lane, Hornsey, London. I have a hunch Nina Worley died in Guernsey?

Many thanks.

Can anyone help please? I'm looking for the birth/baptism of James Bond born Wotton under Edge c.1813, name of parents and siblings would be most helpful as I've hit a brickwall. Thank you.

Armed Forces / William Bugg

I'm trying to research my great grandfather William Bugg born 'I think' 1839 Great Whelnethem, Suffolk. I know he joined the army as a note in a family Bible says 'Driver Wm.Bugg, E Battery 23rd Brigade Royal Artillery, Bellary(India) March 12th 1866'. He married Amelia Burley in Aldershot in 1872 and several weeks later my grandfather William John Bugg was born, again in Aldershot although a few weeks later he was Baptised in Hackney, London. Two other children were born in Kensington, London where William Bugg gives profession as Ostler. He died in 1891 in Blackwall Lane, Greenwich profession Chemical Labourer. He appears in no Census records. My grandfather also joined the army Rifle Brigade in Woolwich in 1892 but upon signing up changed his name to William John Budge. I have searched and searched for Army Records for William Bugg without success. I have a feeling he was a deserter. Can anyone help?

Thanks that's a great help.
Do you know if Francis Cossum and Sarah Devas had other children apart from Charles?  Also when did Sarah Devas (Cossum) die.
Charles Cossum married Mary Ann House c.1813-d.1859 who was born in Stokenchurch in Oxon. They married in St.Pancras Church in 1837. They had two children Mary b.1838 and Francis b1840.  My great grandfather William Jenkins, a Barometer maker, married Mary Cossum in 1856 in St.Mark's Church, Clerkenwell. Mary died in 1873 having had 7 children.
Any additional info you might have would be highly appreciated.
Regards

No I didn't. The children I have are:
Elizabeth 1754, John 1756, Richard 1758, Ann 1760, Francis 1763 all Baptised in Northiam. There is quite a gap between 1763 and 1771 so presume more children were born to Richard and Elizabeth.
