Re William Simmons burial in Walton Park Cem.    The burial registers are to be seen in
Liverpool Library     There are two sections      PAID     and   UNPAID.
As long as you have the date of burial it should be easy to find.   There are not a lot of
headstones  -  as the poorest of people are buried there.
I can help if you wish.

Hello -    I have a burial in St. Mary Birkenhead graveyard 1835 - for Joseph Watson Parry I have heard this is one of the graves plus headstone which was re-interred in Landican Cemetery - I think it was a 'flat stone'  -   could anyone help in finding the grave please. or has anyone seen it.
Also I wonder if there are grave registers available

Thank you Joan

Morley Road Cemetery -   I too am looking for burials there.
I have telephoned the Library at Rhyl, but sadly the person who knows all about them
(and it appears no-one else)  is on holiday.  There is a transcript I hear.
Not sure when she will be back ???????????????

I am lookiong for the burial of David Conway who died 1865 in Rhyl -  late of Liverpool

Hello Roger -  I went to Hawarden on Friday last and checked out some burial places i,e.
Rhyl, Abergele -    -   do you know what happened to the other children of David/Elizabeth
Some of his early children died in Liverpool and are buried in St. John, Liverpool churchyard
If you want these, let me know please.
I am in the process of looking back to the family of the parents of David -  i.e.  Robert Conway and Ann Williams of Bodellwyddan..... he was a slater.  The family go back to Abergele/Rhuddlan area...in the 17thc.
Robert was born c 1751 - but appears to be much older than Ann his wife who was born c 1776.
She died 1875 aged 91 years

My story is from John Conway born 1799 and bapt. St. George - he married Elizabeth Jones in Liverpool 1824 and it is their daughter Jane who married Joseph Borrowscale in Liverpool

Hello -   thanks for your message -   were your ancesters named 'Isherwood'  I wonder.
I am not sure if James Isherwood was a soldier, but his daughter Eliza married one James Morris
of the Household Cavalry..... I still cannot trace the marriage of James Isherwood and Elizabeth c.1800
Thanks for your thoughts....
I will try the London Met. Archives to see if he was a soldier ?

There are a few 'prison' wardens buried there, as it is next door to Walton Prison  - in Hornby Road
I really think it is not a cemetery but just a burial ground!!
I have just found that a very distant ancestor is buried there, and she was in the workouse 1891
as a needlewoman, but said to be infirm.
