Hello,

My Grandmother was born at Broombank Tarland, she had relations who emigrated to Canada, there is a web site you can look up https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/soc.genealogy.surnames/tFgarq_iBV4  or (*)

I have had the John Gerraths Anderson Family Report some years now so the above may be out of date.

Good Luck

Maggie

Hi,

Agnes was on his death certificate as Agnes Mary Pringle Glenesk, i am wondering if she moved away from Scotland with her daughter.  Her daughter married and has a son. J have the death certificates of her parents, her father was Robert Dowie, an Auctioneer and her mother was Janet Henderson Dowie. Agnes also had a brother they lived in Buckhaven.

I feel as if i am hitting my head against a brick wall.  I suppose they could have left the country altogether as my grandad had a Uncle in America.

Thanku for trying

I am looking for my late grandfathers second wife Agnes Mary Glenesk (formally Dowie), the last address i have is School   Cottage, Coltness House Wishaw. Agnes was born in 1913 in Aberdeenshire i think.  They had one daughter who i cannot mention as she may still be alive. I hope somebody can help thankyou.
