hi catherine the daniel I have  was born 1841 and  married rosanne lagan their  daughter was mary anne, daniel's father was james but haven't tracked his mothers name yet it is possible that daniel and micheal were brotherls maybe

mary anne was born 1868 married william doherty not sure of date but had a son william age 12 1901 census living with his grandparents in ballyclose street in limavady.
mary anne married john pyper 17th july 1893 but were widowed at the time of marriage mary and john were living in distillery rd limavady in the 1901 census in the 1911 census they had had 9 children of which 7 were still living

i think I've got it was getting abit confused Mary Ann McNamara (doherty) pyper is my great grandmother your grandfather William is her brother i think, of a have attached copy gedcom file you might have to download a family tree builder if you google my heritage.com should be able to download from there

thanks for getting back to me I'm assuming william is daniel's father which would make him great great great grandfather or is he daniel's brother.
there was great info in what you sent but only came u in a little box so still letting it sink in surprised alot had settled in the short-stand as my fathers family all orginated round that area also. I have been in touch with one of the mclaughlins whose mother was an anderson from vulcan st think you mention her, can't wait to read this out to mum as she'l be delighted

thanks for that knew she married twice but wasn't sure of forename for the doherty think both herself and john each had 1 child from their previous marriages but not sure as in the 1911 census john and the eldest child john are Presbyterian but the other children and mary are all rc so wondering if john is from his first marriage or did they agree the eldest would follow his dads faith and the others their mothers as i assume in those days the church would have been very much against a mixed marriage unless it was agreed that children would be rised rc interested to know what their story was

great thanks i know thomas was born in belfast he was mums grandfather but have my on the james know
they had thomas elizabeth mary rosanna and patrick joseph all born in tyrone except for thomas who was born in belfast

i'm also trying to trace mcnamara particulary daniel who married rose lagan daniel and rose had a daughter mary ann who i found was married twice 1st to a doherty than to john pyper john and mary ann were both widowed when they married they would be my great garndparents so if you have any info would be great

just wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction looking for maguire and logue families in tyrone
patrick maguire address derryloran married rose logue cookstown MARRIED IN COOKSTOWN R.C. CHAPEL, PARISH OF COOKSTOWN in 1869 his father was william maguire and her father was jas logue.
if anyone is researchong either of these families would be great to hear from you

hi just saw you post now wondering did you find out any more on the pypers as i have been tracing my mums side of the family her father was daniel pyper from crindle in derry his father was john and john's father was william
