« on: Friday 05 August 22 17:19 BST (UK)  »

Thank you both so much I'm very pleased with the restoration.

I am in the process of writing up the history of the choir which was formed in 1908 with the aim to producing a book. This photograph will be included in that.

Once again many thanks for your time and expertise in this project.

I don’t know where the original records are held. The records that I have been transcribed by The Gwent Family History Society. They are available for purchase in booklet and on CD from them for a small fee. You can easily find them on line.

Hi all this photo is of Abertillery Male Voice Choir (South Wales) taken 1914. The choir was formed in 1908 and is still going strong today. We have just started to document the choir’s history and this is the oldest photo we have. However its’ looking a bit jaded and could do with freshening up if anyone could help we would be very grateful.

Many thanks Alfred
