According to one resource, Edward Robinson, was the son of Alexander Robinson of Ballymena, Co. Antrim.  Edward was b. 17 Feb. 1849 and went into business with John Cleaver in 1870.  Edward became a J.P. and lived at Lismara, Whiteabbey.


Would you mind sharing your source for this information?  I have conflicting information that William Robinson and his brother John had a cambric bleach works at Ballydown.  John Robinson joined with John Cleaver of Belfast to found Robinson & Cleaver Ltd.

I am very interested in the Robinson line since I believe I am a descendant.
