Here are a few website sites about the Downings that I'm related too. Like I said I haven't done any research on this line, just what was sent to me by other cousins. I mostly work on the Edwards line.

My connection is:
Thomas Edwards married Elizabeth Downing. Her father was suppose to be George Downing.

I hope this helps in some way.

I haven't done much research on this line, however, other cousins information has Elizabeth Isabel Downing father as George Downing connected to 10 Downing Street.

The only information I have for where the house is located is my cousin Tom Edwards visited over there and he said he was on A541 turn to Ysceifiog.

Thank you. I will make a note on my family tree. This could be why I didn't find Isgeifiog Parish.

Thanks for your information.

I had a cousin who was visiting there take a picture of the house. I was told it was at a crossroad and it was the name of the house.

There was a sign with Groesffordd on the gate.

I have notice Ysceifiog and Isgeifiog are spelled alot alike, Do you think the parish is Ysceifiog unstead of Isgeifiog?

Thanks again.
