In a previous post I asked for information on relatives of Ernest and Sarah Mosgrove (nee Nixon). It appears that Sarah was married twice and her maiden name was in fact Swift.

No I didn't know that. Thanks for the information Heather.

Ernest and Sarah Mosgrove had a son James. He was a marine in the Royal Navy and was killed in Normandy on 17th August 1944. Does anyone have any information about James Mosgrove?

I am searching for the descendants and relatives of Henry Mosgrove who was born in Ireland around 1844. He was married to Emma who died in 1923 and they lived in Failsworth, Lancashire. Together they had nine children one of which was also called Emma, she was my grandmother. She married Fred Hardman and they lived in Hardman Lane, Failsworth. I would be most grateful for any information regarding the history of the family. Thankyou.

Hi Bullamore,

My Grandma and Grandad were members of the Holloway travelling theatre. I have in my possession four pictures. Pictures 1 &2 are of Rose and Florrie in costume taken around 1902. Pictures 3&4 show Bill Holloway, Rose, Eagle(?) and a Mr Deakin performing the "Dumb Man of Manchester" taken around 1912. I hope that these are of interest to you. Please copy the link into your internet browser. Hope this works for you.http://postimage.org/gallery/hu53edk8/
