Cheers again CANDO/    I am guessing that would be  his  sisterand brother inlaws  from his  second marriage  to M ay  Brameld in 1931  se  post by SUE:21757
then she in turn  remarried  after William Henry died in 1941 to a  Thomas Underdown..  so they are not  biological relatives?? ( is that  correct??)
yes I do have some  of Edgar(Rays)  army records, but i did notice they have missplet  one of his second names//  Haywood  should be  HAYWARD,so I have sent them an email to set it  right??
Have been trying to contact my sister to see if she remembers any of this  new info   you have been  finding for me?? think she and hubby are away on hols.
when my elder brother passed away 1999/his wife passed  some memoriblia of Ray  to me/  some personal photos/war records and  service medals/  which I in turn passed on to my son, B R P, ex navy submarines,   who has had them remounted, and is quite proud of them.

Hi Essie,  thanks for that /  i never knew anything about my  Fathers parents til now/ and obviously I was too young to remember anything about  him/Gm having died  much earlier.
I guess thats about as far as i can go with  ,digging up the past?? I was  just interested to know that most of my forebearers  all died  reasonable  young//  60--68  ,even my elder bro was 68,(dec.  1999)  so I have managed to  set a precedent by reaching  almost 73???

Thanks Sue,   I knew    ERH P  re married /   he married  Olive?  and my elder Bro /and sis  lived with them for a time?  I stayed with Mum,   my parents separated after the  war/and I never  met him or knew  him till about  1960 /after I was married and he paid a visit to my older sister in perth and i spoke to him for  30 seconds  in the driveway??  He  completely disowned me  and I often wonder if he was my real dad or not??

That info about  William Henry  remarrying  is news to me?? last i heard  of my grandparents was they lived at Forestfield/and he was an orchardist?? I dont know  when they passed on ??

Sounds like my  grandparents  alright!! William Henry and Ada Mary  Pritchard  and son,Edgar,  came out to Freemantle WA,  about that time/  subsequently moved up to Carnarvon to a job at the Comercial Club /secretary?? i believe?
so it seems as though there were no brothers or sisters  . My father, Edgar Raymond Hayward Pritchard  ( known as Ray)  worked  at Dalgheties/??stock and station  merchants, before and after the 2nd WW.until he retired  ill in the 1960,s
Thanks for all your help.  Gerry P.
I will keep  communications open  for  any further  info??
