James Harron married Catherine McCrea 23-1-1862 they had 11 children. One was my grandmother Mary Jane Harron who married David Clarke 1-5-1888.

Would like to connect with any of the Harron family from Ballintra (Drumholm) Co. Donegal.  My grandmother was Mary Jane Harron.  Some of her siblings appear to have emigrated to U.S.A.
Mary Jane Harron married David Clarke 1-5-1888 in Drumholm. They went to Caldercruix to live with their children.

Hi Soapy1
Thanks so much for taking the trouble to find information on Bill (William) Beresford.
In the Monklands Cemetry they have the death of a baby William Beresford. I think this would have been Jean & Bill's first child.  Then had David and (*) who both migrated to Perth W.Aust, after Bill & Jean had come with Mary. Mary always called them Mum and Dad, but still not sure whether she was adopted or Fostered. Think she lived with them from a baby, and they had to get permission for her to migrate.  David was killed driving a timber jinker loaded with jarrah (wood). His widow returned to Scotland and remarried.  (*), Both married but have lost touch with them.  I live in Victoria.
Bill Beresford was my Uncle through marriage.  Kindest Regards Ruth

Hi Soapy1

Trying to get Birth Date for William Beresford.  He married Jean Clarke. They had 2 sons David & Tom,and adopted (or fostered) a child called Mary.
William (Bill), Jean & Mary migrated to Perth W.A. about 1945.
Would like their marriage date.  Think they were living in Forrestfield (Or nearby) before migrating.

Hi Pat
Found William Harron D.O.B. 9-5-1891 Born in Laghy. Said his parents were
James and Catherine Harron. Catherine was nee McCrea. Do not believe he fits into our family line. (Just like George 20-2-1879)
Hope you find what you want in Dublin.
Best of luck.
Ruth
