Thanks for that John B. We have our Tear arm well documented up to Richard senior (immigrant from Potton, Bedfordshire). Have also learnt recently of his parents William and Judith Tear. Will be interested to learn where Jacq fits in.

Jacq. We are a Tear family living in Stoke. Richard Tear senior (1811 - 1899) was my great great grandfather. We have been researching details of his arrival in NZ. Coincidentally he is buried in St Barnabus Church in Stoke which we live close by to. We would be very interested in sharing on the Tear family.
