Trying to find the parents of John Gibson born Markfield 1831, also his wife Ann, born Markfield 1836. All I know is that in 1861 they were living ig Groby and by 1881 they were in Stanton under Bardon. I am trying to find out if they link to the Gibson family from Barlestone.

I am trying to find the parents of Joseph Choice/Choyce born about 1695 in Barlestone. He married Susanna Marler in 1719. There are plenty of references to Choice families in most of the surrounding villages,ie Newbold Verdon,Congerston,Sutton Cheney etc, but with the resources I have I cannot link Joseph to any of them.

Can anyone help please. I am trying to find out more about my 4XGreat grandfather Jno Gibson. He was born abt 1748 and married a Susanna Choice in Barlestone in 1768. I can't find anything else about him. Was he born in Barlestone? And who were his parents?

As far as the original family home is concerned I was lucky enough to grow up in the area where my ancestors lived. When searching through documents it makes it easy to pick the right people because I know the area so well. My mother still lives in the next village to the one that my immediate family lived in for over 300 years.

Leicestershire / Stuck on Finney

I am trying to trace the Finney family from Bagworth and I can only get as far back as the early to mid 1800's. My Grandmother was Alicia Ann Finney born Barlestone 1883, her father was Thomas born Bagworth June 1850. His father was also Thomas but I have no other info except for his wife's first name which was Louisa. She was born around 1811 at Higham on the Hill.
If you have any info on this family, please help.
