Hi Rootschatters

Does anyone know how I can get copies of a few of the photos that the ranger station holds of life in Bothwellhaugh as my G.Mother is in some of them.

Lanarkshire / Joseph Fraser

Have come to a brick wall...........
I have no date of birth, date of marriage, date of death for Joseph Fraser.

I know that he married Margaret Sneddon and had  sons Joseph Fraser baptised 3rd June 1804, David Fraser no date of birth, married Helen Wilson 4th July 1843, died 4th Nov 1864.
This is where my search has hit the brick wall.   I can find lots of Joseph Frasers but none married to Margaret Sneddon.

Any help would be good.

It may not be of any help at the moment.

Mary Docherty   born approx 1854,  married a James Fraser 1st Dec 1876.  Her father was John Docherty(coalminer), mother was Bridget Docherty. Had a few children.  Lived Dalziel, Lanak.

Rose Ann Docherty - born approx 1850.  Married David Fraser 7th June 1872.  Her father was John Docherty (coalminer), mother was Elizabeth Docherty. Had at least 5 children. Lived Dalziel, Lanark.

If you do manage to link up with either of these I do have more information on them.

Hi Scottmum

The family name is Fraser.

I am aware of the Bothwellhaugh reunions and 5 of us do try and get to them as often as possible.  About 4 generations of our family lived in the village.
