Thanks mosiefish that must be him! I dont have that census

another piece of information is that:
the family was eventually split into two, half the children were brought up by their fathers parents in the catholic faith, Letitia stayed with her mother's parents and she was brought up protestant.

Also, some of the children's names she can remember are Kitty, Mary, Louise, William and Owen She thinks there were 7 in total and Letitia was neither the youngest or the eldest

Ann was Ann Catherine Jones She was deaf and dumb as I think was William although i'm not sure about him
I have the census for Letitia in 1901 but no one seems to able to find her in 1891 Maybe she was with her father?

I have just been reading an email that my mum's cousin sent to me. She has the birth certificate of William's daughter, Letitia Apparently he is on there as a "Baker Journeyman". She also has Letitia's marriage certificate on which he is also a baker. She is sending me the certificates. On Letitia's birth certificate their address is 6 North Dingle which is in Liverpool.
So maybe the census I have is the wrong one looking at his occupation!!

Thankyou all!! So it looks like Letitia was Jones before she was married also, which has left me with Letitia missing in 1891 as I had the wrong census. It looks like she moved to Liverpool sometime between 1881 and the following census which I have:

1901 3 Miranda Road Bootle Lancs
JONES Letitia Head F 60 1841 Carnavan, Carnarvonshire
JONES William Son Single M 24 1877 Tailor
Deaf and dumb from childhood Carnavan, Carnarvonshire
POWELL Letitia Grandaughter Single F 11 1890 Bootle Lancashire

The grandaughter, Letitia Powell is my great grandmother So many Letitias!!
