I am looking for a death cert for Alexander Burrell Moore born 1878 in Newcastle. He died we think between 1940 and 1960. He left a wife Mary Gould. Just interested to know what the details on the cert are. I think the parish was St Barts , Newcastle.

Oh Pants....
Well , on the 1851 census , Hannah age 29 is living with her three sons , William Thomas and Charles. Hmm theres the name Charles! It states that she is a mariners wife.
On the 1841 census , there is a Hannah and Jno Moore both aged 20 , living in All saints parish with no kids. I presumed that to be her but now you mention it the 1851 and 1871 census for her and the kids are both for Byker Parish.
What should I do now? Try for her death cert to get the husbands name? She died a widow but her Husband would still be on it wouldnt he?

My Great Grandfather was indeed Alexander Burrell Moore and my Mum has the same middle name. No one has a clue where it came from! I am so excited that I now have the answer!Going to phone her now!
With regards to Hannah being the head of the house now in 1861 she must have lost her husband and son , William in the space of ten years. Mind you , he would have been 16 , old enough to leave to look for work perhaps. Anyway chuffed to bits with your info , Thank you one and all you are all fab!!

I am a bit lost and am looking for help. Please!

HUNDRED - Tindale (west division) What does that mean ?
REG DISTRICT - Newcastle
SUB REG DISTRICT - All Saints.
Failing that , I am looking for the birth cert of their son , Thomas. On the 1851 census the info is :
AGE - 4
BORN- Northumberland , Newcastle
CIVIL PARISH - Byker
ECC PARISH - Byker

Thank you very much Michael. 
I have been researching the family for a while and have just been jotting down addresses ect without much thought.
After being glued to "who do you think you are" I think it is nice to get a feel of how and where people lived. And if possible see pictures.
I have been at my local library gathering pictures of where my ancestors lived and it really brings it all to life.
Maybe one of these days I will get to Newcastle to do the same.
