Hi Ray
The picture you sent me was of William (Bill)and Emily King my grandparents and they had one child Kathleen my mother. Unfortunately my mother passed away 2 years ago.
How this started was that Joan sent me a picture in the local Ross paper of the homeguard during WW2 and it include my grandfarther Bill. I decided to google Bill King at Ross and was shocked to find your postings and picture of their old bungalow.
Joan was adopted by auntie Nellie. She used to work as a bus conductress in the sixties. Joan is now 81.
I am Kathleen's son aged 52 living Gloucester. My e-mail address is (*).
I have spoken to Joan and she is trying to re call you. If you can provide the names of your parents etc she will no doudt rember you. She is very good at the names of all the different branches of the family.
As a coincidence I am just going to Ross to change the flowers on Emilly's grave which is in Bridstow Church just a field away from there old bungalow.
