Hi Melinda, thanks for your reply. I went to Shakespeare from 1962-67 but my dad and all of his brothers and sisters went there too in the 1930's/40's. I would love to see your mums pic as my dad's younger brother would have been at the school around about the same time as your mum, he sadly passed away aged only 15 in 1954, he would have been at NK during that time. Hi Harrywrag, thanks again.

My old School was Shakespeare too and the close I lived in Shawpark Street is also where the Womens Centre is now.  I have been trawling the net for ages trying to find a pic of my street, but with no joy, wish I had taken some pics of it way back then, if only I had known it was going to be pulled down. That name Scott rings a bell, I was only 10 when we moved from the street to further down Maryhill but can still remember most of the people who lived there, good decent people.

I actually live quite near my old street too. The pic on Scotlands Places I have actually viewed.
You said to go to scran site?

Many thanks for your time and help, to be honest I don't think I am ever going to find pictures of my old street as it was many years ago.
