my research indicates that hohipaea's parents were materena waitangi and commander james wood  who sailed the H.M.S Buffalo they had four daughters hohipaea was one..hope that helps :D

Alexander and hohipaea also had a daughter called christina who married alexander cambell....anna sophia margaret cambell was their daughter... my grandmother
