Haven't looked at family history in the past few years...I'm the great great granddaughter of John Tod(d) (b. 4-3-1834 d. Marmaton, KS 1921). My records indicate David Tod b. 10-12-30 (not 1839)...d. 1-29-31. Other early deaths ( contagious illness?) John Tod b. 7-10-24 d. 2-12-31 and Robert b. 12-31-26 d. 3-10-31. Rough winter. Other children: Janet and William G.F. Tod. Info from Tod family Bible. My grandad had a few written materials from William G.F. Tod...presumably written to his father John M. Todd or grandfather John Todd.
I don't have any dates but my information indicates that William Tod's parents were John Tod and Violet Lithgow. Another generation back: John Tod's parents were John Tod and Janet Simms. Violet Lithgow's parents were James Lithgow and Elizabeth Meikle. Would love to get more info if available.
