I have the website owner's permission to use the photo and story for a book on Buchanhaven WW1.  I'm hoping to use the orginal and a restoration.

I received this great photo of 4 generations of my ancestors this morning from a wonderful forum member here.

I also have a copy of the marriage certificate. This John Buchan would be my 4th Cousin 2x removed.

If you are interested I have more information on the Charles Gordon Buchan and Agnes Buchan branch. Agnes Buchan decends from the "White" and "Uncle" Buchan's of St.Combs and Corskelly, Lonmay going back to the early 1600's.

How did you determine that George Reid born 1838 in Peterhead have parents James Reid and Elizabeth Cooper?  I notice FamilySearch IGI gives mother as Elizabeth Cooper whereas the orginal record, Peterhead OPR is as follows:

Nov. 15th James Reid, labourer in Peterhead, had a son baptised, named George, before James Hutchison and George Gall.
