Hello Tony,
I am also tracing the SOUTH family, there were a lot of them in the town of Downham, Cambridgeshire and they moved south to London.
I am back to George South, b 1620, if you are interested I could send you what I have and you can see if anything fits.

Regards

Alan South

PS, my GGGGF was also an Anthony South !

Hello Iris,
My Ann Shipman is my Grandmother, her Father was George Shipman.
Ann married Albert William South on 25th December 1896, he was 22, she was 20.
The witnesses were G Shipman and A Pearce.
Albert and Ann lived at 56 Hague Street Bethnal Green

Please let me know if this ties in with anything you have.

Regards

Alan

Hi, my name is Alan South and I am looking for any connections to the South Family in London (East End, Bethnal Green, etc)
I have a limited Family Tree so far, just back to 1801, starting with Anthony and Diana South.
I have reason to believe that the family started out in Downham, Norfolk.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Alan  (",)
