I know it has been awhile since you posted the last comment but was just wondering if you made any progress. I am from Co.Cork and our Family name is Dudley. It is a uncommon name in Ireland and is a uncommon surname worldwide really. I am living in Sydney myself now and would be interested to hear if I had ancestors that settled here. I am unfamilar with our family tree. On a recent trip to Perth I found my name on the war memorial F.J.Dudley for both the first and second world war's. Thinking maybe father and son and would love to know what the F stood for or if I was someway related. My first name is Finbarr which is Irish but uncommon outside Co.Cork so the combination of both first and last uncommon names should make it easier to follow?
