I'm looking for the marriage of Robert King and Elizabeth b. <1783>. They resided in the Melbourn area. Their son Frederick was born <1817>. Other children were Sarah 1811,Susanna 1808 and David 1812. I'm stuck on Robert and Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a baker in the 1841 Census. Robert was already gone. Any help would be greatly appreciated

David, Thank you for your info. I'm thinking the Susan Baker listed is Susan Barker. Elizabeth had a sister born at the same time 1837. The website you suggested has really helped.

Thank you for your effort. I've added the information I've obtained in the mean time to my message.  After I verify whether this is the correct Sidney, I may need help with Frederick his father.

I found a William Pollock in the 1870 Census. He was living in Belleville, St Claire County, Illinois. He was 28. He was living  with David Pollock and his family who also came from Scotland.  Did William have a brother?  David was 35. William was a coal miner. In the 1880 Census there is a William Pollock living in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. He is married and his wife's name is Emma. Their children are as follows: Alex-11,Mary8,Jennie 6, William 3, Elizabeth 1/12.
