Hi Lilydale, I am so excited to read your post. I am very interested in looking at your family in relation to mine. I'm back as far as Hugh Donnelly and Rose Fegan but I do have quite a bit of research saved just incase.
I believe I'm the match with your mum.
Looking forward to exploring this.

Hi, at long last I have found my relatives Hugh Donnelly & Rose Donnelly nee Fegan.
It turns out that Rose Donnelly aged 87 of Claragh, Seaforde (1901) is not my relative.
I found the burials for my Hugh & Rose Donnelly of Banbridge:
Hugh Donnelly 10.01.1885 of Friar’s Place, Banbridge, a tailor. Patrick Bothwell, son-in-law, present at death.
Rose Donnelly 19.01.1889 of Friar’s Place, Banbridge, widow of a tailor. Ann Donnelly, daughter, present at death.
Patrick Bothwell married Hugh & Roses daughter Rose in 1871. So far I have found 9 children for Patrick Bothwell & Rose Donnelly:
1873 Mary
1875 Rose
1877 John
1879 Anne
1880 Catherine
1883 Patrick
1884 Hugh
1886 James
1888 Anne.
I am a happy tree-searcher ;D ;D ;D

Hi,

Emma Bartlett Adams is my Grandmother and did live with her Aunt  Dempsey ( not sure if it was Maria I have it somewhere but would need to look it out) when she came back from Argentina. She was married to Hugh McBeath who was originally from Callender in Perthshire Scotland.
Walter McBeath

Hi Walter, I would be really interested in learning more about Emma & her family.
I could add it to my records.

Hi Kath, if you phone Milltown they will give you the plot number (02890613972)
If you want to know who else is in grave then you will have to pay for a grave search.
This is a useful link:

Good luck,

Antrim / Re: MALLARDS/MCCORMICK/MCCORMACK - BELFAST - 36 CARLISLE ST.
« on: Thursday 07 August 14 02:06 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to trace my family tree but because my late father's family are unwilling to help I have virtually no information whatsoever.

My grandmother was Jessie MALLARD dob. approx. 1888.  I think she had my father James before her marriage.  I have my father's baptismal certificate from St. Anne's cathedral which shows that he was baptised on 21.8.1907.  Mother given as Jessie and father John.  However I knew my father as James McCORMACK and his mother as Jessie McCORMICK, but it would appear that in the past they were possibly known as McCormick - ?why.  In 1907 they lived at 36 CARLISLE ST. BELFAST.

Jessie was ?caretaker at Melvilles Funeral Directors when it was in TOWNSEND ST.    Could anyone tell me who was living at the above addresses on the dates shown.

Jessie died in her 100th year in ?1988/89.

Hi, I have burial info in 1918 for a James McCormick of Carlisle Street.
Others in grave are Daniel, James. Thomas, Christopher & Margaret.
