Thanks Annette. Unfortunately noone knows the name of my gggrandmother. She and Thomas Keeble came to NZ in  1870 or 1871. We think they had had two children in England that the eldest, Elizabeth, survived and married a Carey here and another child died on the journey.

I'm new at this! Mort29 may have found Thomas Keeble's family. the dates done't quite line up (he was born 10 May 1844) though but how many Thomas Keebles can there have been in Startston at that time and of round about that age?

Hi Gidget - I am also looking for info on the Keeble family of Starston, Norfolk. My great great Grandfather Thomas Keeble (b 1844) came to NZ in 1870. He was married at the time. That's all we know. Keen to know parents, siblings, what they did (he was a farmer here) etc .

Hi Julie...actually I made a mistake. I spoke to Mum last night about this and she said  that Michael was the man not Patrick. Any information you have on him and family would be most gratefully received.

All of this means we are related! I am the grand daughter of Marjorie Moulton nee Hastings. Her mother Ada Vine Hastings was a Blakeney (b 1879 d 1971).

This is exciting.

This man is the brother of my great great great great (I think that's about enough greats) grandfather, Patrick. Apparently Patrick, a pork butcher in Parramatta was thrown off his horse and died. Does anyone know anything about Patrick and his family?
