Yes, the link got me to the right people.  Bereavement Services handles requests about Dunfermline Cemetery.  I had to jump through a few hoops (fill out a form, make a small payment), but this morning I received an email confirming that all the individuals mentioned on the headstone were indeed buried in two lairs in the cemetery.  I also received the burial dates, which was an added bonus.  Many thanks for your help.

Thank you.  They may be able to point me in the right direction.

It's the one on Halbeath Road.  For some reason, the cemetery is not mentioned in the link you provided. ???  FindAGrave does not have the headstone I am interested in.

Does anyone have an email address for Dunfermline Cemetery?  I have a headstone pic from the cemetery and am trying to find out if the individuals listed were actually buried in the cemetery or if some of them were simply memorialized, i.e. buried elsewhere.
I am in the US and was hoping to contact the cemetery quickly without resorting to snail mail. :)

I'm kicking myself!  I normally check FindAGrave and BillionGraves in a case like this, but I never thought to do so because Susan's new headstone was erected so recently.  Can't believe FindAGrave had it.  Thank you so much for this.  Greatly appreciated.

Is there anyone near Omaka Cemetery who would be so kind as to take a photo of Susan Finnimore Barron's headstone?  Susan died in 1924, and I was recently told that a new headstone had been erected, apparently because the old one was in very bad shape.  Online information gives the following information:  No. 3 Lawn, Block 6, Row 0, Plot Number 4.  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Almost two weeks later, no response from the Seaford Museum.  Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've failed to receive a response from them.

I'll definitely try the museum.  Will send a message tonight (my time) so they have it first thing Monday.  :)

Jool, what a great find!  Thank you so much.  I have a couple of letters that my mother wrote in 1943, and she never mentioned George and Louie's surname.  Now I can do a little bit of research on them.  My mother and Louie wrote to one another long after my mother emigrated to Canada in 1945.

I have no explanation as to why my mother referred to Stanmore Cottage rather than Stanmer Cottage.  She mentioned the name twice in her letters (?).  Hoping you can find something to corroborate the Old Cottage/Stanmer Cottage connection.
